QBSI-Xerox Gives Back to the Seattle Community
QBSI-Xerox is committed to transforming its success story into something that does more than manage documents and printer fleets.

Since the very beginning, we have taken every opportunity to improve the lives of others, giving back to the Seattle community through participation and sponsorship in key initiatives for causes that resonate with the community's needs.

For QBSI-Xerox, corporate social responsibility is not an appearance to be maintained and supported by profitable commercial activity. It is a value-driving initiative that defines our role in the community, gives our brand a sense of purpose, and forms bridges between our team members and the people who need support the most.

Giving back to the community forms the foundation of why we continually strive to improve our printing and document workflow solutions in the first place. This key component is what gives meaning to the company and its members – from the mailroom to the boardroom.

Seattle Storm Summer Basketball Camp
In 2016 and 2017, QBSI presented a summer basketball camp in partnership with Seattle Storm. Taking place at the Hidden Valley Fieldhouse in Bellevue, Washington, we gave more than 100 children the opportunity to learn basketball skills and techniques from professional coaches over the course of four days.

This experience does more than teach children basketball skills. It fosters a sense of community and implicitly teaches important life skills about teamwork and leadership. We had Storm players, Sami Whitcomb and Lanay Montgomery, join the young players, sign cards, and talk to the children about life on and off the basketball court.

According to QBSI-Xerox President Kelly Stackpole:

“We are very excited to be partners with the Seattle Storm. It really allows us to focus on some of our corporate initiatives, which is making an impact on the community for underprivileged children, as well as seeing women in leadership positions.”

This inspiring event was a hit with the kids, and we look forward to hosting it every year, bringing new players to the experience and inspiring more children to dedicate their time and boundless energy to creating better lives for themselves and their community members.

The QBSI Golf Classic, and Be Loud Breakfast
QBSI-Xerox I supports the YMCA of Snohomish County in hosting the Annual Golf Classic at the Washington National Golf course every year in August. Donors send golfers and sponsor their performance on a per-hole basis – between $500 and $1,250 per hole, with all proceeds going to the Snohomish YMCA.

We also sponsor the King County Sexual Assault Resource Center's annual Be Loud Breakfast, which raises awareness for sexual violence and gives victims an outlet for reporting assaults. The 2018 event takes place at the Seattle Sheraton, and we look forward to continuing to support this worthy cause in the future.
